Calvary Apostolic Assembly (CAA) is a fast growing global ministry and a registered Charity. We are affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church of Great Britain & Ireland. This Assembly was founded by Rev Jeniva Mpofu in June 2005 in the city of Birmingham and has since reached various parts of the United Kingdom, providing a sanctuary of worship for over five hundred saints in the UK and hundreds in South Africa and Botswana. Rev J Mpofu received a Vision during an extended time of prayer and fasting in 2004, the Lord confirmed through prophetic words, he then moved with His Wife and Children by faith in Obedience of the Lord and guidance of the Spirit to pioneer the ministry, From the humble beginnings in Villa Road, Lozells, Birmingham and Ladywood, the Lord has expanded the church to eight branches in the UK (2013) with more new works starting in various cities, two branches in South Africa and one branch in Gaborone, Botswana. It has several home cell groups across the UK. We have witnessed God raising several ministers, an army of prayer warriors, instrument players, singers and dozens of other workers in the house of God. CAA has a strong Pentecostal – Apostolic foundation, we believe in teaching the solid & sound doctrine of the Word of God, we praise the Lord with vibrancy and worship God in Spirit and in Truth, we believe in total move of the Spirit of God & Operation of the Gifts of the Spirit (Revelation, Prophetic & Power Gifts), we esteem the Work of the Cross for our redemption & the sanctifying power of the Spirit of God CAA worship times differ with each branch. Please visit a branch closer to you for more details.
“..Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth” (Acts 1:8). We believe we are chosen to be witnesses of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is therefore our desire to see the Kingdom of God extended to every soul in the universe. Our utmost goal is to see all nations turning away from their evil ways, bowing down before the Lord and confess that he is the All Mighty God and he alone deserves to be worshipped. It is our desire to witness souls from all walks of life streaming from all directions to the sanctuary of the living God, casting down their burdens before Jesus Christ and worship him. In our commitment to pursue this vision, we preach the only truth that Jesus Christ was crucified, died was buried, then raised from the dead and ascended to heaven by the glory of God. He is the only way, the truth and the life; no men shall be saved except through him, John 14:6. We are committed to preach the true gospel, teach sound doctrine, minister in love and encourage our members to be strong in Christ.
The basic and fundamental doctrine of this Assembly is based on the biblical standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come to the unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.
