Church membership is a biblical principle showing the church as an organized unit, and becoming a member is an important step in deepening your commitment to Christ. Scriptural references of church as a family include Romans 12:4,5 (a body of members); John 10:2 (a fold of sheep); and 1 Corinthians 1:2 (a church of saints). It is at church that we develop healthy, wholesome relationships with fellow believers. Membership also provides accountability to the work and support of the ministry for God’s kingdom. Jesus’ commitment to His church (the body of believers) includes calling committed pastors to watch for our souls (Heb. 13:17), so it is important for us to be committed to an assembly. It is here that we can be guided, nurtured, loved, and taught.
There are a number of fellowships we host throughout the year especially for new members. These relaxing and informal events help you become more acquainted with ministry leaders, and other members.
The first step is to schedule a meeting with the local pastor by calling 01215540831.
We encourage that you join the Discipleship classes. These are usually held on Thursdays between 6.00pm and 7.00 pm via Facebook and Webex. The class is designed to help you become acclimated to your new church. The class will also help you discover your spiritual gifts based on your natural talents and passions, and help you find your place in ministry at CAA Churches.
